It’s been a while since I wrote on my blog – I’ve been busy!! I welcomed my yorkie-poo cousin, Meela, on Christmas Eve – my momma and Aunt Denise drove all the way to a New Jersey rescue to adopt her. She’s adorable and is adjusting well in her home with Aunt Denise and Uncle Louie. Also I’ve been training my sister, Coco Chanel, and progress is made DAILY!! She is my fabulous side-kick and I absolutely adore her. Who knows, maybe she will be a guest blogger someday……
I am thrilled that Valentine’s Day is approaching soon. Did you know that Valentine’s Day is a day to celebrate LOVE! In honor of Valentine’s Day, the SPCA of Luzerne County is having a “True Love Open House” Adoption Event on Saturday, February 12th from noon to 3pm at the shelter. Starbucks will be handing out free beverages and momma is baking her cookies to give out with the coffee. Also there will be opportunities to win some great prizes – one of which includes a 1 year membership to All About Singles OR a date with a DJ – 105 the River’s very own Bryan Thompson. If you are really lucky, you will find and adopt the LOVE of your life….a new pet to take home with you and spend Valentine’s Day with. If you are seeking that “True Love” of your life, you just may find him or her at the shelter…. check it out!!!
